We are not a tech startup. Access Computer Technology was originally launched as Miller Systems in 1994 by Gary Miller. In 2010, upon Gary’s retirement from the company, Gary’s son Jason Miller relaunched the tech support company as Access. In the past two decades, Access Computer Technology has become one of Michigan’s premier technology companies, providing networking solutions to corporations, small businesses, organizations and the home technology user. We offer IT Solutions, hardware repair, Web design/build, online reputation management, customized database creation, and social media marketing for businesses of all sizes in the Metro Detroit area and for home computer use.
Jason A. Miller
Jason Miller became President of Access Computer Technology in August 2010. In that time he has grown Access into a full-scale technology firm that provides social media marketing consulting and web design in addition to IT support. Known on the Web as “The Techie Rabbi,”Jason is an ordained rabbi who is a frequent presenter and writer on the topic of Judaism and Technology. With a wide Internet reach, Jason is a popular blogger, social media expert, educator and entrepreneur.
His blog has over 1 million pageviews and he’s connected to hundreds of thousands through social media. The Detroit Free Press called him “the most tech-savvy Jewish leader” and Huffington Post ranked him among the top Jewish Twitter users. He writes the “Jewish Techs” blog and the “Jews in the Digital Age” column for the Detroit Jewish News. Jason won the 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce and is one of the winners of a Jewish Influencer award from the National Jewish Outreach Program.
Jay M. Snelling
Vice President; Director of Technology and Web Design Services
Jay Snelling started working for Access Computer Technology on October 25, 2007 and was promoted to Vice President of the company in August 2010. An expert in computer hardware repair, Jay has spent his entire adult life building computers. A master coder, he has built close to 100 websites for Access Computer Technology and specializes in Responsive Design coding on the WordPress platform.
An avid musician, Jay plays bass guitar for his band, All Hands Lost. In addition to being a loyal Detroit Tigers fan, he enjoys camping and fishing.
Elissa Miller has been Office Manager of Access Computer Technology in West Bloomfield since 2010. She holds a master’s degree in education from Bank Street College in New York and graduated with a psychology degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Elissa handles all accounts receivables and manages the billing for website hosting plans.
Matthew Konja studied Computer Science at Lawrence Tech University in Southfield, Michigan, with a specialization in business and networking. He has been working with computers since he was a child and is proficient in many different software packages including Microsoft Office, the Google suite of applications, Java , C++, and C#. Matt previously built a database for Secure Check Cashing Inc. in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Gary D. Miller CPA, MBA
President Emeritus; Data Management Consultant
Gary Miller served as President of Miller Systems, the company that preceded Access Computer Technology, before retiring in 2010. Gary is a Certified Public Accountant and earned an MBA from Wayne State University. He specialized in technical information systems for over thirty years. Gary was a professor of accounting at Wayne State University’s Graduate School of Business and led numerous seminars for the Michigan Association of CPAs. He is well known for his ability to teach technical systems to highly educated people. He trained many of the top executives at General Motors in the 1980s when they received their first desktop computers.
In his retirement, Gary enjoys traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. He keeps up on current issues in technology and still enjoys creating proprietary databases for nonprofit organizations.
Catharine Studzinsky graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2015. There she studied Integrative Public Relations as well as Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. She also earned her Social Media Studies Certificate from CMU’s Global Campus. Catharine manages many of the social media platforms for our clients, web design and data entry.
