Computer Technician – IT, Hardware Repair, Virus Removal, Etc.
Successful candidate will have working knowledge in computer hardware troubleshooting including laptop and desktop hardware upgrades; new hardware technology, and roll out; wireless routers and switch (general network); router configurations and implantation all major brands; wireless device support including repeaters and access points.
Software knowledge in Microsoft Office (all versions), proficiency in the Microsoft and Google applications and suites, email clients setup and support (Including Thunderbird, Outlook, and Mac Mail); POP, SMTP, and iMAP configurations; Quickbooks setup, sharing and general support; Adobe Suite including, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, and Dreamweaver.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have working knowledge of database management; general accounting software, as well as knowledge in wireless security, network security – including account restrictions, and a general networking comfort level including the ability to create, support, and roll out new networking. Virus diagnostic and removal capability is a must, as is the ability to fix and replace dead components inside a PC or reload OS when needed after backup occurs.
Knowledge of Website design and building useful but not required.
Candidate should have a very outgoing personality, be punctual with appointment, take pride in their work; be respectful toward clients, and have strong communication skills. Reliable transportation is a must.
